Dr. Lance Potter received his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and his medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Virginia, and his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Medical College of Georgia.
Prior to joining The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center, Dr. Potter was the division head for Allergy and Immunology at NMC Portsmouth. His military training has included C4, hyperbaric medicine, and flight surgery, as well as providing medical support to space shuttle launches and landings. Dr. Potter is board certified in Allergy and Immunology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and two dogs. Most days he is a busy swim dad but finds time for reading and outdoor activities like hiking and mountain biking.
